MALWARE Warning Update

Apparently the Malware warning some of you are getting continues today. In some cases it references The Daily Reckoning, a website whose authors I frequently post here. This warning mechanism is apparently picking up the active link to the Daily Reckoning at the bottom of each post. It seems to involve a "Flash cookie", a very persistent form of information gathering and transmittal software that's not normally deleted if you delete cookies from your browser. I'd suggest you visit a site like "CNETDownload.com" (Windows and Mac software. Mac users download and use "Flush 3.1.") to download and use freely available software to manually remove these items from your hard drive. I'm disabling active links to the site, you may still copy it and go there if you choose. There is nothing here on "Running" that can transmit malware to your computer- no ads, no banners, no popups, no Flash cookies. "The Daily Reckoning" is a very valuable resource, and contains a great deal of truthful information. I'll continue to use the articles from there, but will no longer provide active links to the site until this issue is resolved. Thanks for your patience in this matter. - CoyotePrime
