Robert A. Heinlein, "I Alone..."

"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable,
I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free
because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."
– Robert A. Heinlein

  1. Great quote and has been my philosophy for my entire life. But then, wasn't Heinlein also responsible for the word "grok"? Another one of my most favouritest words.... people either know it or look at you in a way that shows they really don't "grok it"... smiles.
