"I Believe..."; “The Mantua Lovers”

“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”
- Robert Fulghum
“The Mantua Lovers”
"Entwined neolithic skeletal remains excavated in Mantua, Italy in February, 2007. Buried between 5,000 and 6,000 years ago, the prehistoric pair are believed to have been a man and a woman and are thought to have died young, as their teeth were found intact. Double burials during the neolithic period were very rare, and this is the only known example of an embracing burial in Italy."

"And I believe that love is stronger than death.”
